Crystal Palace officially confirmed that England goalkeeper Batland will wear the No. 1 jersey in the team.
Batland joined Crystal Palace from Stoke on the deadline for the transfer window. He signed a three-year contract with the team.
Batland also had scandals with Liverpool and other teams this summer, and his transfer fee was only 1 million pounds.
Now Crystal Palace officially stated that Batland will wear the No. 1 jersey on the team.
After the club's legendary goalkeeper Speroni hung up his boots, Crystal Palace's No. 1 jersey has been vacant.
Batland lost his place in Stoke this season and he has not played in the English Champions League.
